Continental Shakedown formed in 2015 when Ken Goodman (guitars, vocals)and Charlie Bradbury (bass, vocals) spun off from a pop/dance band they were playing in, to form a blues/rock based power trio, covering ZZ Top, Cream, Hendrix, Steve Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton etc.

11 years and around 700 gigs later, Continental Shakedown performs as a quartet including seasoned drummer Lane Kaplan and Maine saxophone, harmonica and vocal powerhouse David Wakefield on board. This lineup results in great versatility… effortlessly mixing classic rock, classic country, rockabilly, reggae, Chicago and Texas blues, and Grateful Dead style jams. Continental Shakedown brings creative instrumentation, three part vocal harmonies and a polished presentation.
