Hi DLA Members and Supporters, We’re rebooting the Downtown Lewiston Association! After a 3 year run, I’m stepping down as Chair of the Board. I will remain an active board member, and am handing over the reins to Danielle Snow of 75 Park to be our new Chair, and Alex McMahan of MedCo to be our Vice Chair. We’re inviting you to join us on Monday, March 17th at 75 Park at 9 a.m. to learn more about the Downtown Lewiston Association, meet downtown business owners and residents, and members of the City. We’ll share the goals for our organization, how to become a member, express interest in becoming a board member, and share your feedback about how to make our downtown a better place. Additionally, the City of Lewiston is launching a campaign called This is Lewiston on Thursday, March 20 at the L/A Metro Chamber of Commerce breakfast. They are offering a preview of the campaign to Downtown Lewiston Association members on Monday, March 17 at 9 am at 75 Park. The goals of the initial phase of This is Lewiston include: Conveying that Lewiston is a place worth investment: to our residents, to people looking for a welcoming place to raise a family, to people looking to open a business, to potential investors and developers, and to anyone who can imagine what is possible here. Connect the Tree Streets Neighborhood transformation to future investment and our entire community’s future success. Highlight the pivotal work people do each day to further strengthen Lewiston into the community we know is possible. This is an opportunity to learn about the campaign, ask questions, and see how you can get involved. I look forward to seeing you on Monday!Keith Tannenbaum, The Vault on behalf of Danielle Snow, Alex McMahan and the DLA Board. |
