The daytime trivia social will return on the third Monday of April at noon. Mark your calendars: April 15. Cost is $5 per person. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. A light lunch of sandwiches and chips will be available for purchase. The questions will feature trivia about old movies and TV shows from the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s.

The Franco Center has provided a safe place for visitors to learn about local history as well as worldwide phenomena including what life is like for immigrants, what it was like to work in the mills, what child labor was like, life in Little Canada, and the cultures of many immigrant groups including food, music, and dance. We share this information through events, education programs, tours and more than 30 display cases full of donated historical artifacts and the stories these artifacts bring to life.

The Franco Center is at 46 Cedar St., Lewiston, in the former St. Mary’s Church. Park in the mill lot on Oxford St. Handicap access to the building is via an elevator on the Lincoln St. Alley side of the building. Everyone is welcome at the Franco Center; there is no membership or language requirement. Our box office is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. most Tuesdays and Wednesdays, online at www.francocenter.org/shows, and 207-689-2000.
